Take a blank sheet of 8.5”x11” paper.
At the top, center, one fourth the way down,
draw a two inch line parallel to the top edge of the piece of paper with one inch on each side of the center.
At the bottom, center, one fourth the way up,
draw a six inch line parallel to the bottom edge of the piece of paper with three inches on each side of the center.
Draw a line from the top left end point of the top line to the bottom left end point of the bottom line.
Draw a line from the top right end point of the top line to the bottom right end point of the bottom line.
You now have a Trapezoid.
Label the center of top line with a “ M ” for moment. This line segment is the length of a single moment.
In reality, this line segment is just a fraction of a fraction of a fraction. Itty. Bitty.
Label the center of the bottom line segment with a “ T ” for Time. This line segment is the length of all time.
In reality, this line segment is nearly endless.
Label the center of the left line segment, that joins the top and bottom line segments together, with a “ P ” for Past.
This line segment is for the totality of all that has past.
In reality, this line segment grows by one half the length of the moment segment at each and every moment.
Label the center of the right segment, that joins the top and bottom line segments together, with a “ F ” for Future.
This line segment is for the totality of all that is to come.
In reality, this line segment grows by one half the length of the moment segment at each and every moment.
Label the top left corner with a “ FM ” for Future Moment. At the moment, the future is in the past.
Label the top right corner with a “ PM ” for Past Moment. At the moment, the past is in the future.
Label the bottom left corner with a “ PT ” for Past Time. Marking the point of all past time.
Label the bottom right corner with a “ FT ” for Future Time. Marking the point of all future time.
While the Past and Future lines grow at each and every moment,
the Time line is pushed farther and farther away from the Moment,
and the Time line grows towards the Past line and Future line at each and every moment.
Thus is the expansion of the Universe.
